1. Who we are and what this covers

This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how EIG Holdings, Inc. and its affiliates, including EIG Claims, Inc., EIG Technology, Inc. and EIG Restoration (together, "EIG," "Company," "we," "our" or "us"), treat information collected or provided in connection with your ("you," "your" or "User") use of eigclaimsgroup.com and our former websites evansclaims.com, eig-claims.com and eigtechnology.com (together, the "Site").

This Policy replaces the separate EIG Claims and EIG Technology privacy policies. Your use of the Site constitutes your acceptance of this Policy.

2. Information we collect

• Submitted information. When you fill out contact forms, apply to join our roster or register for an account, we collect information from you, including Personal Information such as your first and last name, email address and phone number. "Personal Information" means information, such as a name or email address, that we can directly associate with a specific person or entity without additional information. If you decline to share certain information, we may not be able to provide some or all of the Site’s features.
• Automatically collected information. When you use the Site, we gather certain non-personally identifiable information, which may be associated with your user account. This includes usage information, such as when, how often and for how long you use the Site, and server log data such as your IP address, browser type and the webpage you visited before the Site.
• Tracking and cookies. The Site may use web beacons (also called "pixels") and cookies to collect information. We use both session cookies, which disappear when you close your browser, and persistent cookies, which remain until removed. Cookies help us remember your account and preferences, customize the Site and measure traffic. See Section 6 for details.
• Analytics. We use third-party services, including Google Analytics, to assist with analysis, auditing, research and reporting. These services may use web logs or beacons and may set and access cookies on your device. Learn how Google uses this data at google.com/policies/privacy/partners.
• Mobile messaging information. When you opt in to receive text messages from us, we collect your mobile phone number, name and contact information, your message interactions and preferences, and the date and time of messages for record-keeping.

3. How we use information

• Providing the Site and our services. To respond to your inquiries, consider job and roster applications, send requested information and updates, provide the Site’s features, and as reasonably necessary for our business operations.
• Updates and troubleshooting. To contact you about changes to the Site, help troubleshoot problems, or alert you to changes in our policies or agreements.
• Analytics and improvements. To analyze use of the Site so we can improve it and develop other products and services.
• Promotional offers. To send promotional materials and offers. You can opt out of these emails in accordance with applicable law. We will not provide your personally identifiable information to third parties for their own marketing purposes without your consent.
• Text messages. To send SMS messages, updates and relevant information related to our services when you have opted in (see Section 5).
• Combination. We may combine information collected through the Site with information we or third parties collect in other contexts, such as email, phone or customer service records.
• Legal obligations. To comply with applicable laws and regulations.

4. How we disclose information

• Service providers. We use contractors and third-party service providers to operate the Site and provide our services. They may access the information you provide, including Personal Information, and are contractually obligated to protect it and use it only for the purposes we specify.
• Affiliates. We may share information with EIG affiliates for use as described in this Policy.
• Advertising. We may provide aggregated, non-personally identifiable information about our users to advertisers and other third parties. We may also work with advertising partners to show ads about our services after you visit the Site ("retargeting"). Learn more or opt out at aboutads.info/choices.
• Aggregated data. We may report aggregated, anonymous data about Site activity to third parties or the public, such as the geographic distribution of visitors.
• Corporate transactions. In a merger, sale of stock or assets, reorganization or similar transaction, the information we hold may transfer to the acquiring entity.
• Legal requirements. We will use and disclose information where we believe in good faith that the law or legal process (such as a court order, search warrant or subpoena) requires it, or where necessary to protect the rights or property of EIG, our users or third parties.

None of the above sharing includes mobile opt-in data, which is never shared as described in Section 5.

5. Text messages (SMS)

• Consent. By providing your mobile phone number and opting in, you expressly consent to receive automated messages, including marketing messages, from EIG at that number. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
• Frequency and charges. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Check with your carrier for details.
• No sharing of opt-in data. We do not share, sell or rent your mobile opt-in data, including your phone number and SMS preferences, with any third parties for their marketing purposes. It is used solely to provide our text messaging services.
• Opting out. Reply STOP to any message, follow the unsubscribe instructions in our messages, or contact us (Section 13).
• Rejoining. If you opted out and want to rejoin, text START to the number you received messages from, or contact us.

6. Cookies

Like many websites, the Site does not currently respond to "do not track" browser signals. You can limit tracking by deleting cookies and setting your browser to block cookies or warn you before one is stored. Blocking some cookies may affect how the Site works.

We store personal information on limited-access servers and use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect it against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of your information. We disclaim any representation or warranty, express or implied, offering a definitive promise of security.

8. Data retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access your personal information, correct inaccurate information, delete your information, and opt out of certain communications. To exercise these rights, contact us using the information in Section 13.

10. Children

We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13, and the Site is not directed at children under 18. If you believe your child under 13 has provided personally identifiable information through the Site, contact us (Section 13) and we will work to delete it.

11. Transfer to the U.S. or other countries

We use facilities in the United States. Your information will be stored and processed in the United States or other countries where EIG has facilities. By using the Site, you consent to the transfer of information outside your country, even if your country has more rigorous data protection standards.

12. Third parties and changes to this Policy

The Site may contain offers from or links to third-party websites. This Policy does not apply to information you provide to or that is collected by those third parties; please review their privacy policies.

When we change our practices under this Policy, we will update the Effective Date. Your continued use of the Site after a change means you accept it.
